  • Cross Huachuqasa and Acjanaco passes, then descend into the cloud forest.

  • Arrive at Guadalupe Lodge; explore nearby trails and spot local fauna.
  • Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Guadalupe Nature Reserve and Cave Exploration

  • Early morning birdwatching in the palm forest.
  • Breakfast at the lodge with insights into medicinal plants.
  • Swim in the Guadalupe River.
  • Afternoon exploration of nearby caves and bamboo forests.
  • Dinner and night caiman observation by the river.

Day 3: River Boat Excursion

  • Morning drive to Atalaya river port; motorboat ride on Madre de Dios River.
  • Explore Machuhuasi Lagoon: trails, wildlife sightings, and native plant education.
  • Lunch by the lagoon; return to Guadalupe Lodge.

Day 4: Parrot Clay Lick and Return to Cusco

  • Early morning motorboat trip to Parrot Clay Lick for birdwatching.
  • Breakfast and visit to a Wildlife Rescue Center.
  • Return to Cusco via cloud forest and mountain passes, arriving around 5 PM.
